WHY INDIAN SKYSCRAPERS NOT MADE WITH GLASS

 In India we mostly find the skyscrapers without glasses. Less skyscrapers are made of glass in India. There are mainly 4 reasons for why Indian skyscrapers are not made up of glass.

They are:-

1) Climatic conditions 

2) Economical

3) Maintenance 

The first one 

Climatic conditions 

Since India is close to equator mostly India have more temperatures compared to countries like America. As we know glass is a good capture of heat due to this reason the temperature in the building rises . Due to that it becomes mandatory to have Air Conditioner always on in the building which takes to our second reason Economical. 

Economical 

Due to normal glass capture more heat a special glasses were designed to protect form heat but since they are very costly and the labour in India is cheap so many builders prefer to avoid glass. More over due to high temperatures ac also because must so the electricity cost also increased. 

Maintenance 

Since glass building needs more money for maintenance . For regular cleaning and changing the broken glass maintenance cost become high which leads to not prefer these buildings. In India
