Can lockdowns help India ?

 The clear answer is 'NO'.

Lockdown can't help India to survive this situation. Because as we experienced the first wave when we had lockdown cases growth was slow once the lockdown was removed the growth of the cases was so extreme. From 5000 a day to 90000 a day but not touched the 100k mark. But didn't help to tackle the covid-19 completely instead of that we had migrant workers crises and economic crises. That's mainly because un planned lockdown. 

Even though lockdown only is like a pause button which only helps to reduce the fast growth so even after opening of lockdown cases may grow. Moreover is seems that this could be the peak situation of covid-19.
